bodywork
Using physical practices such as Yin and Yang style of Tuina (Chinese orthopedic massage), Cupping (myofascial decompression), Gua Sha (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization), and Craniosacral techniques, we will free up restricted and stuck muscles, improve circulation, and reduce pain.

Exploring contemplative and alchemical practices such as deep listening, active imagination, consulting the I Ching, and embodied movement allows us to cultivate present-moment awareness and wholeness. *Not billable to insurance!
Hey there, I'm Chris.
It's nice to meet you. As a practitioner, teacher, and speaker, I've been practicing Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine for over a decade. While I've got tons of respect for conventional Western-based medicine, its surgical reductiveness often omits the importance of how crucial relationships are to our wholeness. I am most interested in helping people (as Ken Wilbur says) "grow up, clean up, wake up, and show up."
Growing up helps us mature into our full potential.
Cleaning up resets our priorities towards wholeness.
Waking up provides a deeper awareness of our participation in collective suffering.
Showing up teaches us how to serve our family, community, and world.
Whole-self integration must include all aspects of your experience. My work is more like Whole-care instead of health care.
My path to holistic healing was sparked by a deeply transformative experience with a severe and rare tick disease. This event propelled me on a quest for a more integrated approach, which I discovered in the profound teachings of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. I furthered my education by earning a Master's in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California, and specializing in Five Element Acupuncture under the guidance of Lonny Jarrett and Lorie Eve Dechar. I also had the privilege of training at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou, China, and Liaoning Chinese Medical University in Shenyang, China.
I've held Internships in Fertility, Sports Injuries, and East Asian bodywork techniques such as Yin and Yang styles of Tuina (Chinese orthopedic massage), Cupping, GuaSha (Scraping), Shiatsu, and Craniosacral. I'm a Diplomate of the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and [East Asian] Medicine, the American Academy of Physical [East Asian] Medicine, and the International Institute of Medical Qigong. My Bachelor's degree is in Biomedical Science from Colorado State University.
In my free time, I can be found gardening with my wife and son, drinking tea, and composing haiku.
We bill insurance.
In addition to accepting cash payments as well as providing itemized statements needed to bill your insurance for out-of-network coverage, we are IN-NETWORK with the following insurance plans:
United Healthcare
Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield
Providence
First Choice/Multi-plan
Motor Vehicle Accident insurances in Oregon
Please note: all plans vary greatly, even within the same insurance company. As a courtesy, we check insurance benefits and eligibility. However, it is ultimately the patient's responsibility to know and keep track of their own acupuncture benefits.

Chris takes time to navigate the whole person holistically through evaluating medical history, the emotional, the spiritual, and all the interweaving facets. Definitely recommend.

Christopher is a gifted, compassionate healer. His sessions are transformative and have helped me move through the world differently. I came in with some of the worst acute neck and shoulder pain I’ve ever experienced and left the session not only pain-free, but with a new experience of joyfully being in my body. Words do not do justice to the impact of his work.

Chris is a true gift to humanity. The healing & growth that I have had in his space has been incredible. From our very first meeting he did an excellent job of creating a safe & expansive space for me, and as a person who’s experienced a fair amount of trauma that is no small thing. Whether it’s in a chair across from him, or on his table, I always know I am in capable & trustworthy hands. Chris doesn’t just apply healing to you, but invites you to be part of the process & shares his wisdom & understanding freely so that you walk away feeling not only lighter, but also more empowered. Highly recommend for anyone!
